## Overview
The **Cuthwulf Clan** is one of the most powerful and war-hardened barbarian tribes in [[North Angoria|North Angoria]]. They dwell in the **Bone Desert**, located to the northeast of the [[Tribe of the Mother]], past the **Mountains of [[Perserphina]]**. Their territory stretches between two major rivers—the **Wulf River**, running east to west, and the **Cuth River**, flowing north to south. This harsh region lies close to the volatile **Land of Fire**, bordered by a **ring of mountains**. Further still to the far north and east lies the land of **biting cold**, where two Free Kingdoms—**Northoria** and **Nethiria**—hold fast against the elements and history.
Known for their unshakable strength, tribal purity, and hostility toward outsiders, the Cuthwulfs represent the brutal, unyielding face of Solare’s northern wilds. Where other tribes seek diplomacy or alliance, the Cuthwulfs prize domination, legacy, and honor through battle.

## Culture & Values
- **Purity of Strength:** Weakness is not tolerated. Strength, whether physical or spiritual, is the only measure of worth.
- **Ancestral Honor:** The deeds of one’s ancestors shape their future. Battle scars and bloodline rites are deeply revered.
- **Isolationist Tradition:** The clan maintains a strict cultural identity, limiting alliances and discouraging foreign ideas.
- **Clan Above All:** Loyalty to the clan supersedes personal ambition or outside influence.

## Leadership
### **[[Grundwulf]] – Warfather of the North**
The current chieftain-king, [[Grundwulf]] embodies the ancient spirit of the clan: savage, cunning, and unrelenting. He has led the Cuthwulfs in brutal raids and infamous victories. While revered for his strength and authority, his brutal act of parading a kidnapped southern princess across the desert created lasting infamy.
- Barbarian 5 / Fighter (Champion) 15
- Holds absolute power but faces tension from his more progressive children
### **[[Bjorn]] Mountainseeker – The Reformer Prince**
[[Grundwulf]]’s son, [[Bjorn]], has become a symbol of **change** and **unity**. He believes the only path to true freedom is to **ally with the Free Kingdoms** and form a coalition against [[Askaria]]. His journey south into Polaria shocked the clan but earned him growing respect among young warriors and Free Folk.
- Barbarian 14, loyal to [[Angoria]]
- Represents the rising bridge between tribe and kingdom
### **The Daughter of the North (Name TBD)**
[[Grundwulf]]’s daughter [[Ysolde]], only 18 summers old, has rapidly become a **folk hero**, leading decisive strikes against [[Askaria]] and gaining support across clan lines. While not as hardened as her father, she embodies the **evolution of Cuthwulf values**, showing that one can lead with vision, not just fear.

- **Free Kingdoms:** Viewed as weak and politically decadent. Some hope exists through [[Bjorn]].
- **Other Barbarian Clans:** Feared and sometimes admired. The Cuthwulfs consider most others less disciplined.
---
